Hung Viet Company constructs block surface geotechnical retaining wall

Hung Viet Company constructs block surface geotechnical retaining wall for the Project: Constructing Nui Phao mineral processing and exploitation plant.

Construction time: August 15, 2008 – October 15, 2010

Scale: Length L = 50m, Height H = 11.5m, vertical wall, block surface.

This is a system of earth retaining walls reinforced with geotechnical materials reinforced inside the retaining wall. The outer surface is a block of vertical slope. The outside of the block is a unified body with high rigidity, a wall with low stability.

Fast construction time is only half the time of normal reinforced concrete wall construction.

With the same height of retaining walls, geotechnical retaining walls are 10-30% cheaper than reinforced concrete walls or construction stones, the higher the walls are, the cheaper (compared relative to the retaining wall of the same height) .

The use of this reinforced earth retaining wall takes advantage of local filling materials due to the low level of selectivity of embankment materials.
